Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, cloud-native CI/CD and GitOps principles.

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage company’s cloud infrastructure
• Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment, scaling, and management of cloud-based applications and services
• Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of cloud-based systems
• Ensure compliance with solution requirements, security standards, and best practices for cloud environments
• Work closely with the developers and operations team to identify and resolve issues, and ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud applications
• Collaboration with Software Architect in designing cloud native solutions and guiding the development team during the implementation phase

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud based solutions
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code , building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
• Strong experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with microservices and serverless; containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
• Good knowledge in monitoring/logging/tracing, configuration management, and application testing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Good proficiency in English. German is a plus

Remuneration

The minimum salary on a full-time basis for a Cloud DevOps Engineer according to the IT collective agreement is EUR 3,000 per month for 38.5 h/week. However, remuneration in line with the market is a matter of course for us. Together we will determine an attractive gross salary.
