Get your subsidy for digital projects now!
Given the resounding success of last year’s digitalization initiative launched by the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy, KMU DIGITAL 2.1, has now been extended.
The goal of the KMU DIGITAL 2.1 initiative is to prepare small and medium-sized businesses for the digital transformation ahead and to guide products as well as business models and processes into the digital era. New capitalizable investments (tangible and intangible investments) as well as related services from external service providers (e.g. programming, (cloud) software licences) that are directly related with the investment project are eligible. The subsidy will amount to a maximum of 30% of eligible costs (maximum EUR 5,000 for a project volume ranging between EUR 5,000 and EUR 20,000 excluding VAT).
Depending on the scope of the EDI project, it is “important to see it in the context of additional digitalization options, e.g. digital archiving or additional modules in die ERP system. In that case, the overall costs will usually significantly exceed the maximum subsidy,” said Klaus Schaffer, EDI expert at EDITEL. Since the program will last while funds are available, swift action is needed.
