GO Gaststätten order according to need

Go Gaststätten Logo

Headquartered in Linz, it is a fully owned subsidiary of Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich with a range of activities including restaurants, catering services, corporate meals, and F&B for seminars. GO Gaststätten believes in quality, professionalism, and passion and has decided to optimize its procurement of goods processes via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

To us, switching to electronic order processes is the next logical step when it comes to maintaining our high level of quality. EDI increases the efficiency of our everyday processes in the long run, which translates into even better service for our clients. We are new to EDI, and EDITEL has proven to be a partner who supports us with in-depth expertise and personal assistance.

Marlene Millidorfer, head of F&B at GO Gaststätten

In collaboration with EDITEL as an EDI partner and the software company GMS, GO Gaststätten will start by electronically exchanging article master data (PRICAT), orders (ORDERS) and despatch advices (DESADV).

Thanks to the data’s seamless integration into the corporate ERP system, GO will have considerably less manual work for the procurement of goods processes. It also allows the company to keep an eye on the goods needed: “We only order what we need and all merchandise received can be tracked in the system. This helps us avoid shrinkage, makes inventory-keeping easier and improves our collaboration with our suppliers,” said Marlene Millidorfer about the advantages of EDI in the daily F&B business. All information is exchanged via eXite®, the EDI platform by EDITEL. In the future, GO plans to add more EDI processes, starting with the implementation of electronic invoicing (e-Invoice).
