Yes, eXite® also offers the option of transmitting unstructured data. This option is available for binary data as well as for proprietary data formats. As a prerequisite, such data needs to be sent in an EDIFACT or XML envelope.
Converters are used to convert data from one format to another. When transmitting electronic data via EDI, this means that data in EDIFACT format is converted into a company’s internal format and vice versa. Thanks to data conversion, business data transmitted via EDI can automatically be processed by the company’s own ERP system.
EDITEL is here to help you select the EDI software that meets your needs. General information is available here. If you have questions about how to operate your EDI application, we recommend contacting your software provider.

The use of the EDITEL certificate is not charged with any additional fees.
The electronic signature is based on PKI technology (Public Key Infrastructure). It ensures the integrity of electronic documents (e.g. e-invoices) and the authenticity (identity) of the sender (invoice issuer). The signature consist of a certificate which has been assigned with a private and a public key. The private key is only known to the sender (invoice issuer) whereas the public key is submitted to the recipient (invoice recipient) of the signed document (e.g. e-invoice) to verify the electronic signature.
